Diagnose missing settings, authentication failures, cooldowns, timeouts and clone identity problems.

Missing settings
Check that the API URL and Secret are saved and belong to the correct customer/domain pairing.
Authentication failed
Check the exact Secret, domain pairing, server time, endpoint and request-header integrity.
HTTP 429 or local cooldown
Wait until the limit expires. Repeatedly clicking Connect or Save can create additional failed authentication attempts; the documented Connector includes local cooldown protection.
Transport or timeout errors
Check DNS, HTTPS, firewall rules, outbound HTTP access and central-site availability.
Panel connected but maintenance sync never succeeds
Review Central enrollment, WordPress cron, the telemetry queue and the manual Synchronize now action.
Wrong website after a clone
Review home_url() and whether a new independent installation identity is required.
